i don't understand what is the "advanced setting menu" I don't find it in the instruction
expecially i don't understand:
"forward jump" - "Backward jump" - and the "recording setting"

Hi!
With forward and backward jump you can define the length of the jump you can use with the |< and >| keys during playback. In the recording settings you can define how much earlier a recording should start and how much longer it should run. So you didn't miss the beginning/end of a recording, if you mark the show in the EPG and it runs maybe two minutes earlier or later.

are you sure?
because I' reading the manual that says (page 7) that buttons are used to go at the beginning ore the ending of the playback
